O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH,J.] The petitioner has sought for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to take immediate action to stop the illegal construction of the third respondent in S.No.98/19, Vahunthankuppam Road, Nazarath, Thoothukudi, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 06.08.2018.

2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Despite the representation made to the respondents 1 and 2 on 21.08.2018, to take immediate action, no action is forthcoming. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed by the petitioner.

4. Taking note of the pendency of the representation, without going into the merits of the matter, we direct the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.08.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
