Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2.One Chinnakalai was working as Assistant Agricultural Officer. He reached the age of superannuation on 31.05.2013. He was getting pension. He passed away on 29.05.2021. The case of the petitioner is that the family pension should have been paid to her since she was the legally wedded wife of late.Chinnakalai. The learned counsel for the petitioner draws my attention to the representation dated 03.04.2023 submitted by the elder son namely, Vinoth Pandian. It appears that the name of the petitioner is not found in the service register and probably that is why, the authorities have not submitted any pension proposal for paying family pension to the petitioner herein. 3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, I called upon the learned counsel for the petitioner to place the relevant documents in 2/4

support of her claim before the first respondent. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that all the relevant documents such as Aadhar Card, Legal Heir Certificate, Death Certificate etc., have already been submitted by the petitioner before the first respondent on 29.05.2023. The first respondent shall consider the same and on being satisfied that the petitioner is very much the wife of deceased Chinnakalai shall submit the pension proposal. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.This writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
