ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to transfer the investigation in Crime No.114 of 2018 from the file of the 2nd respondent to the 3rd respondent for proceeding the same and further direct the 3rd respondent to cause an effective investigation on the said case and to file the final report within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in pursuance of the direction that was passed by this Court, dated 26.04.2023, investigation was taken over by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli. Further, so far five witnesses have been examined and one lorry bearing Registration No.TN 04 Q 5595 has been recovered.

3. Since the Deputy Superintendent of Pollice, Tirunelveli, is making investigation now, let the above said investigation be completed within five months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
