Respondents Prayer:Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India directing the first and second respondents to produce the body or person of the detenue namely Vijayakumar @ Suruttu Vijayakumar, Son of Dhasan aged about 43 years before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN,J) The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the detenu was arrested by police in a case in Cr.No.268 of 2015 and produced before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Boothapandi. The learned Judicial Magistrate remanded the detenu and as such, he is presently in District Jail, Nagercoil.

2. In view of the subsequent events, relating to the arrest and detention of the detenu, nothing survives for adjudication. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The Habeas Corpus Petition is closed with the above observation.
