************ [Order of the Court was made by T.S.SIVAGNANAM, J.] With the consent on either side, this Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.We have heard Mr.R.Gowrishankar, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.R.Baskaran, learned Standing Counsel for Government appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, Mr.N.Dilip Kumar, learned Counsel appearing for the fourth respondent and Mr.P.Mahendran, learned Counsel appearing for the fifth respondent. 3.The petitioner seeks for a Writ of Mandamus, to forbear the fourth respondent from establishing pumping station for Underground Sewer Project under AMRUT Scheme in South Ratha Veethi runs in old S.No.352, Survey Ward-B, Block 16, T.S.No.1, Pethavanallur, Rajapalayam Town, Virudhunagar District by considering his representation dated 02.07.2021.
4.We permit the petitioner to pursue his representation before the authorities and we are not inclined to issue any direction in this writ petition. This Court cannot decide as to what is the alignment of an underground drainage. It is for the authorities to take a decision in the matter.
5.Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
