.. Respondents Prayer:Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus directing the respondent police to produce the person or body of petitioner's son, namely Nadakumar, aged 25 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN,J) The detenu appeared before us. The detenu informed us that he married a girl by name Ashwini and is presently residing near Tiruppur.

2. We examined the petitioner, who is the biological father of the detenu. According to the petitioner, the parents and the relatives of his daughter-in-law, constantly threatened him and his family members, as the detenu, married a girl from a forward community.

3. The petitioner is given liberty to make a complaint to the second respondent, in case the parents and relatives of his daughter-in-law, are threatened him and his family members. In case any such complaint is received, the second respondent police is shall give necessary protection to the petitioner and his family members.

4. The detenu is a major. He is set at liberty.

5. The Habeas Corpus Petition is disposed of with the above observation.
