This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.06.2020 and to pass necessary orders to pay the Gratuity, Provident Fund and Family Pension to the petitioner.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the wife of the deceased employee namely Natarajan and he was working as Driver in the respondents Office. While he was in service, he died on 20.09.2002. However, the terminal benefits were not disbursed to the petitioner, for which, she made representations on 05.03.2020 and 12.06.2020. However, till date, no order was passed. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that it would suffice, if the respondents are directed to dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 12.06.2020, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period.

4. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no serious objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.06.2020 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
