ORDER
The petitioner's application for the the post of Grade II Police Constable, Grade II Jail Warder and Fireman 2020 was not considered in view of his involvement in an accident case and this fact was suppressed in his application. Pursuant to the notification, the Director General of Police has issued Guidelines in R.C.No.001455/Rect1(2)/2021, dated 22.02.2021, carved out for consideration of such applicants.
2. While the learned counsel for the petitioner relies on Clause 7(f) and 8(viii), the learned Additional Advocate General, also places reliance on Clauses 8.8 and 10 of the guidelines and submitted that the petitioner's case does not require consideration.

3. Since the guidelines were issued after the notification, it would be appropriate to direct the Superintendent of Police to re-consider the petitioner's candidature afresh.
4. In the light of the above findings, there will be a direction to the second respondent, Superintendent of Police to consider the petitioner's application afresh, in the light of the guidelines issued by the Director General of Police in R.C.No.001455/Rect1(2)/2021, dated 22.02.2021, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
