ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the revision petition pending in Moo.Mu.A3-No.7744/2018, dated 12.04.2021, within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2.The case of the petitioner is that he filed a petition before the second respondent, seeking for change of patta in his name with respect to the subject property. The second respondent had dismissed the said petition and aggrieved by the same, the petitioner has filed a revision petition before the first respondent and the same was taken on file in Moo.Mu.A3-No.7744/2018, dated 12.04.2021.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that there has been absolutely no progress in the enquiry and hence, left with no other alternative, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court, seeking for appropriate directions.

W.P.(MD).No.11490 of 2021 4.Heard Mr.V.Kannan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

5.Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to proceed further with the enquiry in the revision petition in Moo.Mu.A3-No.7744/2018, dated 12.04.2021, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the respondents 4 to 9 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass final orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with all relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6.This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
