ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the first respondent to direct the third respondent to give adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner by considering his representation dated 11.04.2025.

2. According to the petitioner, he received life threat from the respondents 4 to 8 and thereby, he sent a complaint to the third respondent on 11.04.2025 for police protection and the same has not been considered so far. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3, on instructions, submits that already FIR has been registered against the petitioner based on the complaint, similarly counter FIR has also been registered and the same is pending investigation. While so, the petitioner sent complaint on 11.04.2025 and the same is under enquiry in CSR.No.151 of 2025. He further submit that they will conduct enquiry and take appropriate steps in accordance with law within 15 days. 2/5

4. Considering the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court, without issuing notice to the respondents 4 to 8, is inclined to pass order in this petition.

5. According to the petitioner, he sent a representation/complaint for police protection to the third respondent and the same was not considered. According to the third respondent, they admitted the receipt of the complaint and assigned CSR No.151 of 2025 and the same is under enquiry. Therefore, this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation/complaint of the petitioner dated 11.04.2025 and take appropriate action in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to the both parties, within 15 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
