This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal filed under Section 173 of the Motor Vehicles Act, praying to set aside the judgment and decree passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Principal District Judge, Karur in MCOP No.197 of 2008 dated 20.03.2014 and pass such further or other orders as this Honourable Court may deem fit and thus render justice.
DECREE: This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is coming on for hearing on this day and upon perusing the grounds of Appeal, the order of the Lower Court and the material papers in this Appeal and upon hearing the arguments of Mr.D.Sivaraman, Advocate for Appellant, and Mr.K.Sureshkumar, Advocate for Respondents, and this Court while dismissing the appeal doth order and decree as follows: 1.That the Judgment and decree passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Principal District Judge, Karur in MCOP No.197 of 2008 dated 20.03.2014 be and hereby is confirmed and this Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed.
2.that the Appellant herein/Transport Corporation be and hereby directed to deposit the entire award amount, less the amount already deposited, with accrued interest and costs, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this Judgment. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.that on such deposit being made, the respondents herein/ claimants be and hereby are permitted to withdraw the entire award
