O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction to the first respondent to grant separate patta in favour of the petitioner by conducting survey of the property in Survey No.706/1 situated at Sivayam North Village, Krishnarayapuram Taluk, Karur District.

2. The petitioner had also placed his reliance on registered document bearing Registration No.89/1989, by which, his mother had purchased the property from one Manikkam. There is a joint patta in the name of the petitioner's mother, one Chinnammal and the petitioner herein. The petitioner had given necessary representations. Hence, a direction is issued to the respondents herein to issue notice to the petitioner and to the joint pattadhar, namely, Chinnammal and thereafter, make an inspection and if it is permissible, proceed to examine the 2/4

representation of the petitioner herein and do the necessary needful. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
