: Respondents Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's wife Sudha, W/o.Samuvel, aged about 28 years, before this Court and set her at liberty.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the husband of one Mrs.Sudha, aged 28 years. According to the petitioner, his wife has been found missing from 17.08.2016 on wards. In this connection, a case has been registered by the police in Crime No.253 of 2016, on 20.08.2016. Despite the same, the detenu has not been secured, is the grievance of the petitioner.

2. Today, when the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up for hearing, the petitioner, who is a physically challenged person, did not make appearance, but his counsel made appearance. The detenu was produced by the second respondent. The detenu told that on account of some domestic quarrel, she left the matrimonial home https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and is staying with her friend. Now, she wants to go back to the matrimonial home.

3. Recording the above said statement made by the detenu, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed.
