O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents /Tahsildar and Head Surveyor, Tahsildar Office, Kulathur, Pudukkottai District, to survey and fix boundary stones of the lands in Survey No.142/5A1 in Patta No.1055 at Mootampatti Revenue Village, Kulathur Taluk, Pudukkottai District. The petitioner had given an application dated 03.03.2023 and had also paid necessary fees for the same.

2. The petitioner, had purchased an undivided share of a larger extent of land and has been in possession of the same. However, patta has also been granted in favour of the petitioner in Patta No.1055. 2/5

3. A direction is given to the respondents to issue notice to the petitioner herein and also to the other members who own the larger extent of the land and thereafter, proceed to survey the land of the petitioner in accordance with the sale deed by which the petitioner had purchased the property and do the needful. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
