Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a WRIT OF MANDAMUS directing the 1st Respondent herein to hear and dispose of the petitioner's representation/appeal dated 31.01.2026 (received on 02.02.2026) filed under section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983 for correction of mistakes in the revenue records with respect to the property bearing in Survey No. 108/2, ad-measuring 0.82 Ares (2) Acres and 2 Cents) in Kallangudi Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 1st Respondent herein to hear and dispose of the petitioner's representation/appeal dated 31.01.2026 (received on 02.02.2026) filed under section 12 of the Tamil Nadu Patta Passbook Act, 1983 for correction of mistakes in the revenue records with respect to the property bearing in Survey No. 108/2, ad-measuring 0.82 Ares (2) Acres and 2 Cents) in Kallangudi https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

Village, Karaikudi Taluk, Sivagangai District, within a time stipulated by this Court. 2.It is seen that the petitioner has submitted the appeal on 31.01.2026 and the same was received by the respondents on 02.02.2026. The said appeal is pending for the past 3 months. 3.This Court without expressing any opinion on merits is directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal and pass orders and dispose the same in accordance to law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
