: Respondents PRAYER: Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents to produce the body or corpus of the petitioner's wife namely B.Raja Priya aged about 23 years before this Court and set her at liberty.

O R D E R
*********** [Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner claims to be the husband of one Rajapriya, aged 23 years. According to the petitioner, she has been found missing from 20.08.2016 onwards. Since she has not been traced by the police, the petitioner has come up with this Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the petitioner made his appearance along with his counsel. The detenu was produced by the Police. She appeared along with her parents. When we enquired, she told that she wants to be only with her https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
parents and that she does not want to join the petitioner. The said statement is recorded.
3. In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in this petition. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, leaving it open to the detenu to choose her own way of life. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the competent Civil Court.
