ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission for conducting cultural activities traditional dance and songs on 09.05.2015 for the completion of Festival of Sri Mari Amman Thiruvizha Festival at B.Mettur Village Dhuriyur Taluk, Trichy District based on the representation of the petitioner dated 29.04.2015. 2.It is stated that the petitioner has made an application on 29.04.2015 before the respondents seeking for the above said relief. It is further stated that the festival is to take place on 09.05.2015 and therefore, the second respondent has to pass necessary orders in this https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ regard.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the second respondent will consider the application and pass appropriate orders within the time stipulated by this Court.

4.Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 29.04.2015 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law on or before 08.05.2015. No costs.
