O R D E R This criminal original petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to provide police protection for the petitioners life and limb and his property situated at M.D.R.Nagar, North Aruppukottai,Virudhunagar District on the basis of the representation dated 08.04.2023 in accordance with law.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that because of the land issue between the petitioner and the third respondent enquiry was undertaken. During the course of enquiry, it was found that it is a civil dispute between the parties. The parties have given an undertaking that they will work out their remedy through civil process. Till then they will not make any trouble to each other. There is a complaint and counter complaint.

3.In view of the undertaking given on both sides, there is no necessity for granting any police protection at this stage. The petitioner has to workout his remedy through appropriate civil proceedings. 2/4

4.With the above liberty, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
