O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner pending in Na.Ka.A1/60/2017, dated 29.06.2017, within the time frame fixed by this Court.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the patta has been wrongly issued in the name of the respondents 3 and 4 and hence, an appeal was filed by the petitioner and his daughter before the first respondent and it was taken on file in Na.Ka.A1/60/2017, dated 29.06.2017. The grievance of the petitioner is that there has been absolutely no progress in the enquiry and therefore, left with no other alternative, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
3. Heard Mr.R.Balakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to proceed further with the enquiry, after affording opportunity to the petitioner and the respondents 3 and 4 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the first respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
