PRAYER :- To call for the records pertaining to the Crime No.55 of 2023, dated 25.02.2023 on the file of the Thuvarankurichi Police Station, Trichy District and QUASH the same against these petitioners. 2/5

COMMON ORDER The present petitions are filed to quash the Crime Nos.55 and 56 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police.

2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that it is a case and a counter case. 3.It is represented that both the parties have compromised the issue and joint compromise memos are also filed to this effect. The parties appeared before this Court and the same is verified by the Registry. However, it is submitted that the 8th accused in Crime No.55 of 2023 is a juvenile and the accused Nos.11 and 14 did not appear before this Court. Since the substantial persons have appeared before this Court, this court is inclined to take the joint compromise memos into consideration.

4.Therefore, the impugned FIRs are quashed. The joint compromise memos shall form part and parcel of this order. The benefit of the joint compromise memos is applicable to all the accused who were present before this Court. The Accused Nos.11 and 14 who were not present before this Court are also entitled to the benefit of the joint compromise memos to the interest of justice.

5. With the above said observations, the criminal original petitions are allowed, based on the joint compromise memo. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
