Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the 2nd respondent from constructing the public toilet in Melatheru, Near Old Water Tank, Thuvakudi, Trichy District and consequently directing the second respondent to construct public toilet in some other areas in Thuvakudi Municipality. O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner has come up with this Public Interest Litigation seeking a direction to the second respondent not to construct public toilet in Melatheru, near the Old Water Tank, Thuvakudi, Trichy District.

2.When the matter came up for hearing today, the learned Special Government appearing for the first respondent submitted that already the toilet has been constructed and the distance between the toilet and water tank is more than 25 meters. The said statement is recorded.

dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
