ORDER

The petitioner seeks for a Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner for promotion to the post of Sub Inspector, Armed Reserve, Trichy in accordance with police Standing Order Nos.41 to 44 as per the seniority followed in the Armed Reserve under the third respondent kept pending from 2013 as per request of the petitioner representation dated 21.04.2015. 2.It is seen that the petitioner has already approached the respondents for the above said relief. 3.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.04.2015 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, M.P.(MD) No.1 of 2015 is closed.
