[Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.] The petitioner is the mother of one Mr.Rajaram, aged 24 years. According to the petitioner, Mr.Rajaram went out of his house on 05.08.2016 under the guise of going over to his work spot to get his salary. Thereafter, he has not been returned, is her grievance.

2. When the Habeas Corpus Petition was taken up, there was no representation for the petitioner. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that in connection of the missing of Mr.Rajaram, a case has been registered in Crime No.117 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent and the same is under investigation. Since the investigation is in progress and since there is no illegal detention, the relief sought for cannot be https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

granted, except issuing a direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation.

3. The Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed with the above direction.
