Respondents Prayer:-Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 5 not to dig huge waste pits for the purpose of dumping waste materials in the Thasi Oorani comprised in S.No.80 of Narasingam Village Madurai East Taluk of Madurai East Taluk of Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.4.2015.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner has come up with this public interest litigation seeking a direction to forbear the respondents from https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

dumping waste materials in the Thasi Oorani comprised in S.No.80 of Narasingam Village Madurai East Taluk of Madurai East Taluk of Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 27.4.2015.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader has produced a proceeding of the District Collector in Na.Ka.No.771/2015/D5 dated 13.07.2015, by which, the District Collector has dropped the said proposal. The same is recorded.

3.In view of the same, nothing survives for adjudication in the present writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.

No costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
