ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking for a direction to direct the respondent to conduct the enquiry based on the petitioner's application in Na.Ka.A5/35170/2016, dated 22.07.2016.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner made an application before the first respondent in proceeding No.Na.Ka.A5/35170/2016, dated 22.07.2016. So far, no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner has filed this present writ petition.

3.The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, would submit that the first respondent has served notice to the petitioner to appear for enquiry on 25.09.2020 and to produce the relevant documents with regard to the encumbrance certificate for the period from 01/01/1975 - 31/12/1986 and 01/10/2012- 30/12/2013. 4.In reply, the learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes that the petitioner will appear for enquiry on 25.09.2020 before the first respondent/District Revenue Officer and produce the relevant documents.

5. In view of the aforesaid submission made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion on merits of the the case, the first respondent shall serve the notice to the parties concerned and conclude the enquiry with in a period of eight weeks. Thereafter, shall pass final order as expeditiously as possible.

6.This Writ Petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
