ORDER

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. The petitioner's son - Baskaran is said to have passed away, leaving behind the petitioner, the respondents 4 and 5 as surviving legal heirs. The petitioner wants issuance of Legal Heir Certificate. Since the petitioner's request was not considered, the writ petition came to be filed.

3. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate submitted that only if the application is filed through Online, the third respondent can consider the same. Admittedly, the petitioner has not filed any Online application. The petitioner is, therefore, permitted to file an Online application seeking issuance of Legal Heir Certificate and if such Online application is submitted, the same will be disposed of on merits and in 2/4

accordance with law within a period of six weeks thereafter. This writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
