PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the respondent police to file a final report in Crime No.399 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police dated 14.10.2017, within the stipulated time as laid down by the provisions of Code of Criminal Procedure.

ORDER

According to the petitioner, the case has been registered in Crime No.399 of 2017 dated 14.10.2017. But, so far, final report has not been filed before the trial Court. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court with the aforesaid prayer.

2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that final report will be filed before the trial Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3.In the above circumstances, this Court directs the respondent to file a final report, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
