This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 03.11.2020, wherein, the petitioner has sought for shifting the agricultural service connection from Survey No.29/1 to 29/7.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the agricultural service connection has been given to the petitioner in Connection No.741 for Survey No.29/1. The further case of the petitioner is that the well has completely gone dry in Survey No.29/1 and hence, an application was made to the respondents requesting for shifting the service connection from Survey No.29/1 to Survey No.29/7. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
3. Heard Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.M.Rajeswari, learned counsel for Mr.S.M.S.Johny Basha, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner on 03.11.2020 and take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.
6. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
