Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to issue patta to the petitioner's property, situated at Trichy District, Srirangam Taluk, No.71, Nagamangalam Village, S.F.No.149/11, measuring Acre 0.31 cents within this combined lay out plot Nos.3 and 4 measuring 5448 square feet, in the light of petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2021, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.03.2021, wherein, the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta in her name with respect to the subject property.

2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject property is owned by the petitioner by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 17.09.2007. The petitioner made a representation on 05.03.2021 to the respondent seeking for patta with respect to the subject property. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr.R.Sundar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.03.2021 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.11375 of 2021 orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any other interested parties claiming right over the subject property, they shall also be issued with notice and an opportunity shall also be given to them.

5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
