Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent herein to issue patta to petitioner's property situated at Trichy District, Srirangam Taluk, No.71, Nagamangalam Village, S.F.No.156/7 measuring Acre 0.14 cents, S.F.No.156/8, measuring Acre 0.14 cent, S.F.No.156/9, measuring 0.11 cents within this combined lay out plot nos.14 and 20 measuring 4891 square feet in the light of the petitioner's representation dated 05.03.2021, within a stipulated period as may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 05.03.2021, wherein, the petitioner has sought for issuance of patta with respect to the subject property.

2. The case of the petitioner is that she is the owner of the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 12.07.2007. The petitioner made an application / representation before the respondent on 05.03.2021 seeking for issuance of patta in her name. Since the same was not considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.

3. Heard Mr.R.Sundar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P.(MD)No.11402 of 2021 there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the application / representation made by the petitioner on 05.03.2021 and deal with the same on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any other interested parties claiming right over the subject property, they shall also be issued with notice and an opportunity shall also be given to them.

5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with all the relevant documents and also a copy of this order.

6. This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
