ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to take appropriate action under the criminal law pursuant to the petitioner's complaint dated 02.06.2021 in the light of the dictum laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in the case of Lalita Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh & Ors. reported in (2014) 2 SCC as expeditiously as possible within the time stipulation as prescribed by this Court.

2. The learned Government Advocate(Criminal Side) submitted that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent issued C.S.R.No.580 of 2021 to the petitioner and this complaint was forwarded to the District Crime Branch, Tenkasi and it is pending for enquiry.

3. Considering the above, the Inspector of Police, District Crime Branch, Tenkasi is directed to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and the counter parties and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
