ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to provide police protection to the petitioner, on the basis of the representation dated 13.04.2021.

2.The case of the petitioner is that the property situated at D.No.12 B, Parvathy Illam, Shanmugapuram, Palani, Dindigul District, was originally purchased by her father-in-law, namely, Kanthasamy Asari. The aforesaid Kanthasamy Asari bequeathed the same to some other persons through Doc.No.7/1955. In respect of the property dispute, a suit in O.S.No.46 of 2005 is also pending before the Mahila Court, Dindigul. During the pendency of the aforesaid suit, the private respondents were trying to vacate the petitioner from the house by rowdism. Hence, she made a representation dated 13.04.2021. But there was no action. Hence, this petition came to be filed.

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.9065 of 2021 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor (Crl.side) would submit that against this petitioner also, a case in Crime No.845 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Sections 465, 471, 468, 474 and 109 of IPC has been registered, in which, 9 other persons were show as accused. Since the petitioner has also been shown as accused, she has to workout her remedy before the appropriate forum through appropriate proceedings. So, the question of granting police protection may not arise.

4.With the aforesaid liberty, this petition is disposed of.
