For Petitioner : Mr.S.Poornachandran For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi Additional Public Prosecutor O R D E R This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to expedite the investigation and file a final report in Cr.No.101 of 2021, which has been registered under Sections 147, 447, 427, 294 (b), 323(b), 506(i) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act.

2. The petitioner is the defacto complainant in the above said case. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though a case has been registered as early as on 08.04.2021, till date, no steps have been taken to complete the investigation and to secure the accused. In spite of repeated request, the respondent police did not turn up to complete the investigation.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor requests this Court that two months' time may be granted to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court.

4. Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.9052 of 2021 with a direction to the respondent Police to complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
