Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records pertaining to the Impugned returned check slip passed by the respondent vide his proceedings in RFL Number.Ponnamaravathi/69/2025, dated 08.04.2025 and quash the same as illegal and direct the respondent to register the sale deed.

ORDER
The Writ Petition is filed challenging the impugned returned check slip passed by the respondent vide his proceedings in RFL Number.Ponnamaravathi/69/2025, dated 08.04.2025 and to direct the respondent to register the sale deed.
2. The issue raised in the Writ Petition is covered by a judgment of this Court in T.Senthilvel Vs. The District Registrar (Administration), Dindigul District and another, W.P.(MD).No.22114 of 2024 dated 17.10.2024. The learned Judge had specifically held that the fact that there will be a double entry of a document is not a ground for a Sub Registrar to refuse registration.
3. Following the judgment of the learned Single Judge, the impugned order is quashed. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is allowed. There shall be a direction to the respondent to register the document presented by the petitioner within a period of two (2) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
