ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the respondents to grant necessary permission for conducting bullock cart race on 27.04.2025, between 6.00 A.M. to 8.A.M as part of the Masi Thiruvizha Festival of Sri Manthai Karuppanan Swamy temple, based on the representation given by the petitioner.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the authorized representative of the village community of the Kottanipatti Village and they decided to conduct festival of Sri Manthai Karuppanan Swamy temple from 23.04.2025 to 27.04.2025 and also decided to conduct bullock cart race on 27.04.2025 for which they approached the third respondent through representation dated 10.04.2025, but no action was taken, therefore he has filed this petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration and they will conduct enquiry and take appropriate decision in accordance with law.

Considering the prayer sought for in this petition and the representation of the petitioner is also pending with the third respondent this Court directs the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner favourably by imposing appropriate conditions and to pass orders within a period of one week from the date of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
