Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to sponsor the name of the petitioner bearing Employment Registration No.TN D 1999F00005617 dated 21.03.2006 to the 2nd respondent and further direct the second respondent to consider his candidature to the post of Lab Technician Grade-III.

Mr.Selvaraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

The petitioner has come forward with this petition, seeking a direction to the third respondent to sponsor the name of the petitioner bearing Employment Registration No.TN D 1999F00005617 dated 21.03.2006 to the 2nd respondent and further direct the second respondent to consider his candidature to the post of Lab Technician Grade-III.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has a valid case on merits and by applying the relevant rules, the petitioner is eligible to be considered for selection. He has further submitted that it would suffice, if the representation of the petitioner dated 30.04.2015 is considered and suitable orders passed thereon by the third respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In the light of the above, without going into the merits of the contention raised by the petitioner, a direction is issued to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.04.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
