Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the "Aadalum Paadalum" dance programme on 01.06.2015 from 08.00 p.m. to 12.00 p.m., in pursuant to 'Vaikasi' Thiruvizha of Sree Balasubramanian Koil, Sikkapatti Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2015.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to direct the respondents herein to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct the "Aadalum Paadalum" dance programme on 01.06.2015 from 08.00 p.m. to 12.00 p.m., in pursuant to 'Vaikasi' Thiruvizha of Sree Balasubramanian Koil, Sikkapatti Village, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 09.05.2015.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner has given representation to the respondents on 09.05.2015. However, the respondents have not given any permission to the writ petitioner so far.

3.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, I feel it is just and proper to direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 09.05.2015. Accordingly, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the representation dated 09.05.2015 and pass appropriate orders purely on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two days from the date of production of a copy of this order.
