The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to disburse the claim amount for the 2/6

petitioner's damaged paddy crop in Survey No.233, to an extent of 0.8 hectares (2 acres) in Patta No.111 situated at V.Karisalkulam Village, Seikalathur Group, Kalkurich Village Panchayat, Manamadurai Taluk, Sivagangai District based on the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2023.

2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has already submitted a representation on 23.02.2023, to the respondents seeking compensation for the petitioner's damaged paddy crops. The said representation is still pending consideration. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed. 3.Learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the respondents will dispose of the petitioner's application within a time frame to be stipulated by this Court.

4.Considering the submissions made by the learned Counsel on either side, this Court without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 to 5 to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.02.2023, within a period of four [4] weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
