O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking measurement of lands in Survey Nos.185/1, 185/3, 188/2C and 186 in Kariyampati Village, Ottanchathiram Taluk, Dindigul District. The total area of the land is 1 are. The petitioner had given a representation on 07.01.2023 and had also paid necessary charges on that date.

2. The petitioner claims that he had purchased the land by a registered sale deed dated 09.03.2023 registered as Document No.333 of 2023 before the jurisdictional Sub Registrar Office. 2/5

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader pointed out that the patta stands in the name of the vendor.

4. A direction is given to the respondents particularly, respondents 2 and 3 to examine the document and then to issue notice to anybody who may raise objections and thereafter, if there are no objections, proceed to conduct survey. The entire exercise must be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
