ORDER
****** (Order of the Court was made by M.V.MURALIDARAN, J.) The petitioner, namely D.Arupputha Mary, has filed this Habeas Corpus Petition stating that her son, by name D.Arunkumar, S/o.Divyanathan, aged about 25 years, was missing from 24.09.2016 and she alleged that one Muthuraj, Head Constable, attached to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Koodakkovil Police Station, the eighth respondent herein, has illegally detained the petitioner' son. Therefore, she has given a complaint to the respondent police on 25.09.2016. Since no steps have been taken so far, the petitioner is before this Court with the present Habeas Corpus Petition.
2. We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the State. We have also perused the records carefully.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that in connection with the case registered in Crime No.111 of 2016, for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 506(i) and 420 of the Indian Penal Code, the detenu was arrested and remanded to judicial custody, as per the order of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam.
4. Recording the above said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, we close the Habeas Corpus Petition.
