ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction, to direct the respondents to grant permission and necessary police protection to conduct the "Aadal Padal Programme" on 15.08.2018, at about 7.00 p.m., in connection with the festival of "Arulmighu Sri Muppidathi Thirukovil", situated in Ayarkulam, Unnangulam, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2018.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.
3.By consent of both parties, this Writ Petition is taken up for final hearing in the admission stage itself. 4.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the representation of the petitioner, dated 02.07.2018, is directed to be considered https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and an order to that effect would be passed, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
5.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that if the said representation is pending with the respondents, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
6.Considering the said circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, this Court is inclined to direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.07.2018 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
