2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks further adjournment. Therefore, it can now be inferred that the appellant is not interested to prosecute the appeal. Hence, this appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution. The respondent police is directed to secure the appellant to undergo the remaining period of sentence. Bail bond executed by the appellant, if any, shall stand cancelled.
