RESPONDENTS/RESPONDENTS Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to issue a direction, direct the Dean, Government Rajaji Hospital, Madurai to provide a better treatment to the petitioner`s son Soundarapandi @ Pachakari, S/o.Chellapandi, aged about 36 years, detained as a 'Goonda' and lodged in Madurai Central Prison pending disposal of the Writ Petition in HCP(MD).784/2022. Prayer in Habeas Corpus Petition(MD) No. 784/ 2022 : Pleased to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus or any other Writ or Direction calling for the entire records connected with the detention order of the Respondent No.2 in Detention Order No.15/BCDFGISSSV/2022 dt.28.04.

CRL MP(MD) No.6412 of 2022 [Order of the Court was made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] Soundarapandi @ Pachakari has been detained under Act 14 of 1982 by the Detention Order of the second respondent dated 28.04.2022 and is presently lodged in Central Prison, Madurai. Challenging the detention order, H.C.P.[MD]No.784 of 2022 has been filed. Seeking medical treatment for the detenu for a fracture in his leg, the present petition has been filed. 2.Heard Mr.R.Venkatesan, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner.
3.Mr.S.Ravi, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that Soundarapandi @ Pachakari [R.P.No.9717] is under treatment in Government Rajaji Hospital for the fracture in his right leg. 4.In such view of the matter, we direct the Government Rajaji Hospital authorities to give better treatment to Soundarapandi @ Pachakari for his fracture and discharge him after he is medically declared fit.
