ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to direct the respondent to act upon the order passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pudukottai in Cr.M.P.No.701 of 2020, dated 09.10.2020 and investigate the case in accordance with law.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent would submit that as directed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pudukottai in Cr.M.P.No.101 of 2020, the respondent conducted enquiry and the same has been closed on 11.03.2021, without even registering any F.I.R. 3.When the learned Judicial Magistrate forwarded the complaint under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C, the respondent ought to have registered the F.I.R and conducted the investigation. Therefore, the enquiry report submitted by the respondent is set aside. The respondent is directed to register the F.I.R as directed by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Pudukottai in Cr.M.P.No.101 of 2020 and conduct enquiry and complete the same within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
