O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to direct the respondent to grant permission and protection for cultural event namely Adal Padal, Archestra and Karakattam scheduled to be held on 24.05.2015 to 26.05.2015 at night in connection with Arulmigu Sri Kaliamman Kovil at Vendurayapuram Village, Sivakasi Taluk, Virudhunagar District.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the writ petitioner has given representation to the respondent on 08.05.2015. However, the respondent has not given any permission to the writ petitioner so far.

3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, I feel it is just and proper to direct the respondent to consider the representation, dated 08.05.2015. Accordingly, I direct the respondent to consider the representation, dated 08.05.2015 and pass appropriate orders purely on merits and in accordance with law, within two days from the date of production of the copy of this order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
