ORDER

****** (Order of the Court was made by S.NAGAMUTHU, J.) The petitioner is the father of one Deepa, aged 22 years. According to the petitioner, she has been found missing from 05.07.2016 onwards. In this regard, the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No.90 of 2016 on 06.07.2016. Since the girl was not secured by the second respondent, the petitioner has come up with the present Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the detenu has eloped with the third respondent and there is no illegal detention. The same is recorded.

3. In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition is dismissed, however, with a direction to the police to expedite the investigation.
