: Respondents Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records connected with the detention order passed in P.D.No.62/2016 dated 20.09.2016 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and quash the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenue or body of the detenue namely Suresh, S/o.Rajavel aged about 36 years, now detained at Central Prison, Palayamkottai, before this Hon'ble court and set him at liberty. 2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned

Additional Public Prosecutor under instruction submitted that the Government itself has revoked the order of detention by the order in G.O.Rt.No.5439, Home, Prohibition & Excise (IX) Department, dated 01.11.2016. He has also produced the copy of the said Government Order.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed as no further order is necessary. The above Government Order shall form part of this order.
