Writ Petitions are filed under article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to hand over the vacant place with an extent of 10 x 10 (in the premises of Government Raja Mirasudhar Hospital, Thanjavur nearby second gate) to the petitioner to shift the Avin parlor in the light of the order of the 2nd respondent dated 03.02.2026 Na.Ka.No.13367/the/ma/va/2025 and provided electricity, water and drainage connection to the petitioner's Aavin parlor, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 17.03.2026. ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to hand over the vacant place of an extent of 10 x 10 within the premises of Government Raja Mirasudhar Hospital, Thanjavur, (near the second gate) to the petitioner, in order to shift the Aavin parlor, in the light of the order of the second respondent dated 03.2.2026 and to provide electricity, water and drainage connections to the Arvin Parlor, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.03.2026.

2.When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader by placing certain inter office communications between the Dean of the hospital and the Executive Engineer of the PWD, would submit that the matter is under consideration by the authorities and certain administrative steps are being taken and the position is being clarified. However, the petitioner had suddenly deposited a sum of Rs.42,250/- in the portal, the authorities will consider the case of the petitioner and do the needful, if appropriate time is granted by the Court. 3.

Since it is stated that already the petitioner is running the parlor and the request is with reference to the change of place, let the decision be taken by the respondents 2 and 3 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the web copy of the order and if their decision is in favor of the petitioner, the petitioner shall be provided with all necessary amenities such as water, electricity, whichever is feasible and final orders be passed. 4.In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. 08.04.
