ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission to conduct "Kabadi Competition" by V.V.K.Kabadi Team for using Box Speakers on 04.08.2018 and 05.08.2018 starting from saturday night 08.00 pm., to Sunday evening 10.00 pm., in our Village Iravathanallur, Madurai District.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3.According to the learned Government Advocate, the petitioner's representation dated 24.07.2018 seeking permission to conduct Kabadi Competition has been rejected by the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Madurai on 19.07.2018 stating that there is a likelihood of law and order problem. A copy of the said rejection order is also produced before this Court.

4.In the light of the above, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. It is open to the petitioner to challenge the order dated 19.07.2018 passed by the Assistant Commissioner of Police.
