ORDER

The above writ petition is filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 not to permit the respondents 5 and 6 to conduct the Kumbabhisegam scheduled to be held on 26.04.2023 in the Adaikalamkathar Temple at Pudur Village, Illuppur Taluk, Pudukkottai District on the basis of the representation of the petitioner dated 11.04.2023. 2/4

2.When the matter was taken up for admission, it was informed by Mr.P.Subbaraj, learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 and 2 that there is no permission granted for conducting the Kumbabhisegam as stated by the petitioner.

3.Recording the above, the Writ Petition is dismissed. The sixth respondent would represent that the temple does not come within the purview of HR & CE. It is therefore open to him to take such steps as required. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
